Teaching American History Grant

The American Institute for History Education specializes in writing and directing the US Department of Education Teaching American History Grants (TAH Grants) for schools and school districts. Currently, our organization is directing more than 50 TAH Grants awarded nationally with focus on providing teacher's professional development, as well as, increasing student's academic success.

Our TAH Grant programs (TAH Fellowships) include teacher training sessions, curriculum development tools, student classroom activities and teacher educational trips to historical sites such as: Gettysburg, Valley Forge, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Washington DC, Williamsburg, Alabama, Atlanta, Mount Vernon and more.
